i am 10th grade right now
and few days ago me and my friend
got caught skipping school
so we've got one day of in-school-suspension.
I've never got in any trouble before and
i am worried that this one suspension
might be an effect when i go to college.

Please tell me your opinions!!
i am really worried about this =(

Nah, it won’t affect you too much. However, it really depends on which school you want to apply to. State universities and community colleges won’t give a damn about your disciplinary issues, but highly selective univs (ex. Columbia, Stanford, etc) will care and ask what happened.

It really does depend on the full circumstances; most colleges will ask for some explanation as to why you were suspended, and as long as you can somehow portray it positively…(dunno, maybe you were skipping school to do some community work or something, lol) if you were just skipping school coz you cbf, then it certainly wouldn’t be looked upon well by more selective colleges (as previous post said, state unis probably won’t care in any case)
