UCSD has an over enrollment problem, will this effect me getting in?

Over enrollment may have an impact which would result in UCSD offering less spots for both Freshman and Transfers for the next admission cycle. There is really nothing you can do about it other than make sure you have applied to a variety of schools where you would be happy to attend.
