Hi people =) I'm going to be a freshman in college this upcoming fall, and I'm thinking of transferring to University of Pennsylvania after my first year.

One of the things UPen asks of transferring students is their SAT or ACT scores. Well, I took only the SAT test (twice) back in high school and didn't score as high as I liked, so now I'm hoping to take the ACT to see if I will get a higher score on that. But I'm not sure if the ACT test I take after high school will be valid according to UPen. What do you guys think?

I am also looking to transfer after my freshmen year. I had a decent ACT score the first time I took it (with no test preparation). However, I know I can do better. I am looking to retake it this October while I will be a freshmen in college (after studying of course). Any answer to this question would be very helpful to me as well =]

On the website, this is all I found: “Required Tests Applicants are required to submit the results of the College Board SAT Reasoning Test. Results of the American College Testing Program (ACT) are also acceptable. The SAT Subject Tests are not required. Candidates whose native language is not English should also submit results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).”

Best of luck!
