Will people lie about their admission decision?

Think they will?

Its only a forum yea.. but it would suck if you aren't accepted.

WISH ME LUCK.

i dunno it doesnt seem like theres a point in doing that.
like i i got deferred/rejected i just wouldnt say anything instead of admitting it.
but i wouldnt lie about it…thats stupid.
but id do my best to finish RD apps and get them over with before christmas break cuz i have a ridiculosu amount of catching up/studying to do for stupid finals.

exactly… if I don’t get in I would leave and never say anything before I would lie… what’s the point of lying? you’re still not in

I…'m kinda on the fence about what I’ll tell my peeps at school. I’m pretty sure I’ll just be honest if I’m rejected but… so. many. people. know. I’m applying!!

Nah I wouldn’t lie. There’s no need to seeing as how I’ve already got in.

if i dont get in, you wont see me posting anything. i wont be back at this board again. sorry guys.

I really dont see what’s so good about lying about getting into Columbia…it wouldn’t be worth it either

I already know that my chances at getting in are pretty slim.

^everyone’s chances are slim this being the most competitive year especially :-(. Haha, I don’t think people would/should judge if one doesn’t get accepted.

If I get rejected or deferred, I’ll openly admit it and tell everyone about it so that I can get it over, and move on as quickly as possible… Getting the words of support from people around would really help me recover from the shock…

I, like many of you here, don’t see the point of lying.

“Will people lie about their admission decision?”

Yes, they will.

I think it’d be really helpful for future applicants if all rejected/deferred applicants put their stats up too. I totally would.
