I am an international student and have otherwise decent SAT and A Levels (2100 and As). However, my SAT II are **** poor.

Maths II : 600
Physics : 530

How badly will this affect me? Even if the school doesn;t require SAT II? I made the mistake of writing the scores down on the common app and now kinda have no choice but to send them.

I wrote a not in the personal statement of the common app explaining how I had next to no time to prepare, do you think the schools will give me an exemption?

Depends on college. Obviously, for colleges that require or recommend SAT IIs, it could have an adverse impact; for example your SAT II scores are really low for ives which require them and Stanford which recommends them and thus you should assume they will have an adverse impact with those colleges. If the college just “considers” SAT IIs if submitted but does not require or recommend submission then likely it will have little impact. If the college is one of the majority of colleges (which includes most public universities) that does not use SAT II scores even if you send them then the scores will have no impact.
