<p>I recently received my financial aid from Princeton, and I have to admit it wasn't as much as I'd expect. I have received more generous financial aid packages from the likes of Columbia, Duke, WUSTL, and even Williams. Of these four schools, which would Princeton match? Would they match any of them?</p>

<p>I would call them and ask them how they came up with what they did, given other schools have come up with more when P has the reputation of giving generous financial aid. I’m curious myself. The thing is, there could be a mistake. It does happen So ask. It isn’t going to hurt, you’ll find out, and there might be some issue that would not be addressed unless this is pointed out.</p>
<p>Run your numbers through the NPCs for all of those schools and see what is generated. That’s another issue to bring up is if P’s numbers do not come out as their NPC predicts.</p>

<p>Don’t say ‘match’. Just ask for a financial review and mention that you have higher offers, they will likely ask which schools and ask you to FAX or email scans of the offers. P is usually very generous but they do use their own FA form rather than the Profile, so there could be something they are counting that the other schools aren’t, or there could have been a mistake made.</p>
<p>Any of those schools are reasonable to bring to Ps attention.</p>
