Will Princeton not even look at my ACT without writing?

Hey, all right. One of the reasons you’re getting criticized so harshly is for your use of profanity. You’re absolutely right. No one on here knows the first thing about you so the language you use when posting is one of the only things we have to go on.

No one is trying to attack you. Please remember this is just an anonymous college help forum. And I’m glad to hear that you care about Princeton for the right reasons.

As for the bureaucracy, rules, fair or unfair, are rules, and that statement about Princeton requiring the ACT with writing has been on the website for a long time.

If it makes you feel better/more confident to retake it then do so. And I really meant good luck. I don’t have anything against you.

UPDATE:

Thank you to all who responded. I apologize for some of my heated and unkind replies to people; I was pretty angry over the entire ordeal. Luckily, I received an email response from the Office of Undergraduate Admission, in which the woman said that “everything I send in will be considered” as long as I submit the ACT with writing on it. While that seemed like a direct contradiction of the verbage on the website, I’m certainly not complaining.

Again, thank you to all of you. I apologize for some of my replies; I’m a stressed out high school senior and sometimes I vent my frustrations in the wrong places. Thanks again.
