Hi, I wonder if anyone have this consideration whether we should transfer.
Will professor bias against you if they know you're transferring to another school?
Let say if you're not succeeded in transferring to another school, what would you do?
May be it will create problems when we request the professor to write us a recommendation letter for grad school application.

Anyone has faced this dilemma?
Please share your opinions and experiences, thank you!!

1.) When you ask a teacher for a recommendation they are typically teachers you have a strong connection with, they like you, and want you to succeed no matter where you go. There isn’t really any incentive for them to give you a bad recommendation (unless you’ve earned it), but this isn’t to say that they would give your skills and strengths a perfect rating.

2.) Make some safety schools on your transfer list, and if you don’t get into those then just improve your application for the next term.

I felt really weird about asking my professor, but once I actually asked him, he was super excited for me. He actually applauded me for taking this opportunity to better myself. So if you are close to your professor, this should be no problem.
