<p>I applied to rutgers in first of november. I still havent heard back from rutgers yet. I am kinda worried about getting in or not because this is my top school. my rutgers status still says that "in process". how many chances do i have to get into rutgers with:

<p>I had the same gpa as you and a lower SAT score and I got into arts and sciences and environmental and biological sciences. You definitely have a shot. Just be patient!</p>
<p>My son has low GPA, I believe a 2.9. He scored 2060 on SATs (he is smart but bored with HS). He applied to Rutgers in November and its where he wants to go. He has normal community service, works at the local YMCA as a certified lifeguard and played HS baseball for 3 years. I assume he will get notified within the next few weeks as he wasn’t an ‘early’ applicant. I believe he applied to Arts n Sciences and business school if I remember correctly. Are his SATs enough to overcome his poor GPA? Also are his chances diminished because he didn’t apply ‘early’?</p>
