I recently got accepted to Rutgers University NB, as a transfer student in fall. However will Rutgers revoke my admission because I have two withdrawals in my current spring semester.Rutgers wants me to send my spring final transcripts. Even with the 2 W's I am still taking 12 credits, and I am passing all of my classes with either a c or above. my GPA will also be higher than a 3.0. And i will still graduate from my community college on time ( I will graduate this spring semester, however i would still have 2 courses left in the summer to complete.) So will Rutgers revoke my admission because of 2 W's.

I don’t think and at this point there is nothing you can do. I would not worry about it too much.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

I’m also in a similar situation, i’m an incoming transfer student for the fall semester and during the second week of April my grandfather had a stroke and my entire family had to leave and visit him in Pakistan. I ended up missing a lot of work and a couple of exams. In my calc 2 class my final exam counted twice for me because I missed one exam while I was gone. I ended up failing my final and I got an F in the class. Im really worried that I will get my acceptance rescinded. I emailed the admission office about my situation and they havent responded I feel like they will revoke me because they have not responded.

They never respond. I would call them and see if you can take it over the summer to replace the F.

Well if this helps anyone I emailed Rutgers and this is the exact statement they gave me about my situation:

As long as you are not entering Rutgers through the NJ STARS program or receiving a transfer merit scholarship which may have requirements in terms of when the associate’s degree is earned by, then as long as your transcript shows you successfully withdrew from the courses (rather than incomplete or withdrew fail, etc.) then your admissions would not be affected. You would still need to provide us with a transcript by July 13 and then would send another updated transcript once all courses are completed.

Thanks for posting that response; it may help someone else who is searching for an answer.
