Will SAT Physics prepare you for AP Physics B?

<p>I'm not taking AP Physics B, but I am taking an SAT Physics class. I'm also taking AP Physics C: Mechanics in school.</p>

<p>Will the SAT Physics class be sufficient to prepare for the AP Physics B exam?</p>

<p>Thanks!!! I'm debating whether or not to take the Phys. B exam, since it conflicts with the C exam, and the reschedule date is during my finals... however it's my AP exam #8 (possible National AP scholar)</p>

<p>SAT physics might prepare you for the multiple choice part of the ap exam but definitely not for the free response questions. if you have experience in answering FRQ’s, then go for it. and if you are taking the mechanics part of physics c, i suggest reviewing the electromagnetic and optics section because they are also included in the physics b exam. good luck with your national ap scholar thing :)</p>
