Hey guys, my number one goal is get accepted into Georgetown's School of Foreign Service, I realize it is incredibly competitive and difficult to get in but I do have to remind myself to be confident of my skills and what i've done. What i'm most proud of is that I started a what you could call "Grassroots Organization" for Hillary Clinton's 2016 Presidential Race. I have assembled a group of 40 High Schoolers to help me fundraise for Hillary's impending election, i've also in collaboration with my High School's Women's Empowerment Club been able to raise awareness to women, youth and minority voters on the importance of voting in elections. I've assigned positions of VP, Treasurer, Sec, and officers to other students in the club and we've had great success of spreading our message. If Mrs. Clinton decides to not run which seems very unlikely the club has decided that we will focus our attention on the foremost Democratic candidate (saying this just to clear somethings up.) So anyways, in addition other things on an application, will this be something that really catches an admissions councils eye? Thank you

I think it’s a great extra curricular for Georgetown. Be sure to clearly explain what the group does, how large it is, its mission and why you started it in your app. It demonstrates leadership, organization and dedication; all important in college admissions. I just applied to George Washington my self, and spent over 750 hours on the campaign trail for President Obama in 2012. I’m hoping that’ll help get my foot in the door. Best of luck to you.

Thank you and good luck with GW, a friend goes there and loves it.
