Hi all,
I'm currently a freshman at Albright College in PA. I fell in love with the college when I first visited and it became the only school I applied to in the end. While my first semester wasn't completely awful, it was not nearly what I was expecting.

-My roommate turned out to have lied about herself (we met online and requested each other), her boyfriend is around 24/7 and they're both anti-social and rude
-I feel as though I am not close enough with the group I do hang out with at school. They met each other from day 1 and I kind of just merged in one day a month or two later.
-I tend to get really anxious/overanalyze my interactions with people so I'm often worrying if the group I do hang out with likes me or not.

-I am pledging a sorority in the spring semester and have enjoyed all the recruitment events so far. I am hoping that is a great way to form friendships.
-I've applied for a job on campus that would allow me to be around a lot of people.

I'm just worried that what used to be my dream school will fall to pieces. I've enjoyed my classes and had an OK time so far. It's just that socially I'm a little bummed. Does it get better 2nd semester? I'm just looking for some advice.

Thanks so much.
