<p>i just got accepted to san jose state a few days ago but i dont know if they will rescind my application because i got a D first semester in AP environmental science. i tried to contact all of the schools that i had applied to as soon as i got my report card but over a month has gone by and only two have given me responses.
san diego state told me that if i was accepted they would rescind but cal state fullerton said that since i have already met and exceeded my science requirement to get into the school i should be fine.
which answer do you think is more similar to what ill get from sjsu? have any of you had problems similar to this with sjsu in the past? and how much do you think it will it effect my chances of being rescinded if i work my butt off second semester to get grades higher than my overall gpa?</p>

<p>i think i just had alot on my plate. i work 15-20 hours a week, retook my sat’s, had two ap classes, and had a 150 hour internship to complete first semester which i did around 8-12 hours of a week. Im also involved in a leadership program for the orange county bureau of jewish education along with a small amount of personal problems that happened. on top of that i didnt take the class out of interest for the topic, learning about different types of dirt and how a lake turns over throughout the year was not my idea of interesting.</p>
<p>But it’s environmental science…</p>
<p>If you have genuine reason behind getting a ‘D’ they might not rescind your offer. :)</p>
