@collegenj If original hotel is not available for your rescheduled date look into hotels in “greenbelt” maryland…literally next town over and about 10 min from campus. There is a Hilton garden inn that is nice and actually less expensive than hotels located in college park…

@momofabby Good news! I found this on the UMD Admitted Students Open House page.

Important Update: The Admitted Student Open House scheduled for Friday, March 6, 2015, has been cancelled due to inclement weather. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is working to identify an alternative date for this event after mid-April, which will be announced in the coming days.
