I've been accepted to study abroad in Beijing for spring of my sophomore year. I plan to major in finance or accounting, most likely accounting. The thought never really came to me until yesterday, but will studying abroad during my sophomore year affect my chances of finding an internship for that summer? I know I will have to push off some of my required classes such as Accounting II for fall of Junior year. By doing so, does this eliminate my chances of finding an internship? Thanks.

I did this, but took classes like the first accounting a semester early so I wouldn’t end up taking sophomore classes my junior year. Then again, I did have some nice AP scores which allowed me to take sophomore classes during freshman year. Here, you can find an internship year-round, but if your school doesn’t offer many events in the fall, you can just search on your own.
