Will sub-par SAT subject tests kill me?

Applying to CAS Undecided RD

2050 SAT.
breakdown - 670 Maths, 680 CR, 700 Writing.
Everything within range - not amazing, but shouldn't be a problem.

Doing a full IB diploma, predicted 38/45, and have around a 3.7-3.8 GPA unweighted, so I think everything is fine there.

but..
i got 650 in Lit, and 660 in Bio subject tests.

I don't do Biology HL as an IB subject, so I had to self-learn a lot of the topics. However, there is no real excuse for not breaking 700, with some more studying I probably could have - it's been a stressful year.

Literature isn't something you can study for and I'm well over the 'average' which is 580, but I'm still concerned that this will make me look stupid. :/

I've put a lot of effort into my short answers and my ECs are pretty solid, but I'm aware NYU is quite numbers based .. did I just ruin this for myself with those scores, or am I worrying too much?

Any response would be amazing, even if it's something I don't want to hear!

anyone? :/

I think you should be ok. Those are very similar numbers to me and I got an LSP admit. My GPA was lower than yours. But my essays, ECs and recs were all solid.

hitmenow - thank you so much for the reassurance. I know NYU isn’t a lock, but that made me feel a little better; getting LSPed isn’t the end of the world. :]

You should be just fine. You really have nothing to worry about. My GPA was lower than yours, and we have almost identical test scores and I got in so that should tell you something.

I also got a 2050 on the SAT. But on my subject tests, I got a 620 Lit and 600 Math I, and I was accepted. However, I’m in Tisch film, where the portfolio counts for 50% of the decision.
