Will switching sections lose my spot in lecture?

<p>Hey dudes,</p>

<p>Just wanted to check with you on this because I've screwed myself over too many times with telebears this phase and don't wanna do it again.</p>

<p>I want to switch a section for a lecture I'm enrolled in. The lecture is full + waitlist for open seating (which I'm under). It's a class where those not enrolled in lecture don't get enrolled in discussion, so the section I want to switch into has two open seats but has a waitlist.</p>

<p>Just wondering if I can switch sections and not end up waitlisted.</p>
