Will taking a community college course accredit this UC requirement?

The UC's require that you take 2 consecutive semesters of the same visual and performing arts class. In other words, you have to take an elective that is a year-long course and which also accredits the VPA requirement. It is the second semester of my senior year, and I haven't been able to take two semesters of the same class because I transferred schools in the middle of high school twice. If I take a dance class at a community college, will this requirement be made up?

That’s the kind of question you really should ask an admissions officer at one of the UCs, and not a bunch of strangers on the Internet.

Based on absolutely no knowledge of the UCs at all, I’d say it’s probably fine, especially if you use the “additional information” section on your application to explain that you moved frequently and used community college classes to come as close as you could to fulfilling this particular requirement.

But you really should go straight to the source for an answer to this question.

If the course is transferable, (“IGETC”), and ~5 quarter units worth, then yes, it will generally count. In other words, not a half-credit course. For example, Spanish 1 can be taught as Span 1 or Span A and Span B, the latter two are half-credit courses.
