Hi! I really need help
Here's my course load:

AP Comp Gov / AP human geo (one class, one each semester).
AP Envisci
AP Art Hist
AP French
AP Lang
Honors Precalc
Regular Physics
Engineering Design and Development (counts as a regular class).

I was wondering how dropping Engineering Design and Development would affect my GPA? Would it make it go up?

It won’t lower your GPA. The fact that you’re already taking AP classes, puts you on a different scale; thus making your GPA really high, implying the fact that you earn good marks in them as well.

It won’t affect your unweighted GPA, and that’s all colleges care about. Your goal is to get mostly As and take mostly challenging classes…don’t worry too much about how your school calculates GPA.

If you have a 4.0 unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale, nothing will make it go up. It will go down if you get anything other than an A.
If your GPA is lower, getting an A in any class will make it go up.
