Will taking online courses help get me into a top university? Please Help!

<p>Will? taking courses at Cousera, Udacity, and Edx will help make my college application stand out? (of course, I am also interested in learning these topics, and am not taking the courses JUST to stand out). I understand that I will not receive college credit for these courses, but will I still be able to list them on my college app? </p>

<p>You can list them on your app. They show your commitment. Will they help in increasing your chances? - Sometimes, yes and sometimes, no.</p>
