So, I took the SAT twice. Once in my junior year of high school and another time in my senior year of high school. The highest score I received was an 1880(superscored),which,for majority of the schools I’m applying to, is not bad. However, for two schools(my reaches: Barnard and Vassar) it is a bit low. Anyways I decided to take the SAT for one last time in January, which both schools said they would accept. However, due to the snow storm my test center was closed and the SAT was rescheduled to February 20th, 2016. I was a little worried, but not too worried because I did send the SAT scores that I already had so, my application wasn’t considered incomplete. However, I looked on both of their admissions websites and they both said that they would accept the February 20th SAT scores and will make a note on my application. But, then while I was talking to my friend earlier today she asked me if I was taking it again and I said yeah and she said she wasn’t because the scores get back mid march and that’s too late.By then they’ve already picked out who they want for their school and she wanted to be the first they see not the last. So now I’m wondering if deciding to take it on the rescheduled date will hinder my chances even more. So,what do you guys think? Have you guys heard of a college doing this,it does make sense.
Bumpity bump bump…lol
