Will taking the SATs 3 times affect the way my score looks?

<p>So basically here are my three tests
1st CR - 570, M - 630, WR - 620 (1200/1820)
2nd CR - 640, M - 670, WR - 650 (1310/1960)
3rd CR - 600, M - 760, WR - 650 (1360/2010)</p>

<p>My superscore is CR - 640, M - 760, WR - 650 (1400/2050).</p>

<p>I know all of the schools I'm applying to superscore but will having taken the SATs 3 times affect the way they look at my score? Will my score be looked at moreso like a 1950 rather than a 2050? Also will the fact that my reading score decreased and my writing score stayed the same affect anything? Between my 2nd and 3rd time was only a period of 2 months, and I only studied for one of those months and concentrated on math because I knew I could score much higher than a 760.</p>

<p>Some schools will “dock you” for taking the SAT that many times, most won’t. Does it really matter at this point? It’s already happened.</p>

<p>Lots of students take the SAT two or three times, so I don’t think it will count against you in any way. What ultimately matters is how your scores compare to other applicants at the schools you applied to!</p>
