Will terrible GREs kill my shot at a phd in molecular biology?

I can start my saying that I scored a 960 GRE (410V, 550Q). I really choked here! I have worked so hard in undergrad to set myself up for the future. I was really shocked to see my performance scores on this "exam." Will this score hurt me in applying to some higher ranked tier 1 schools?

My credentials: I am an older student -- 28 years old. I had one really bad semester that plummeted my gpa from a 3.5 to an overall 3.34 gpa -- 3.44 in my major from a respectable university (My father was ill and I needed to take care of him). This I explained clearly in my SOP. I have done summer internships and several undergrad research courses. I have great LORs, and also a great SOP (several phds and an MD help me to write it). In addition, I have taken some very challenging and advanced courses in my field. Lastly, I am a veteran. I have served two tours of duty in both the Afghan and Iraqi wars. I have lots of leadership training as well intercultural experiences. The bottom line is that I have worked my ass off since I was 18 y/o to get to this point in my life. It was a very sad day to see my GRE scores as low as they were. I was so disheartened by my GRE experience.

The schools I applied to are:

George Washington University
Northeastern University
Loyola University - Chicago
Boston College
University of Arizona
Thomas Jefferson University
UMass/Amherst
SUNY Albany

Does anybody think I could possibly be accepted?
