Hey guys!
so when I took the SAT test in January I scored 610M, 600W and 450R, and I have been studying and answering test since. I mainly did badly on the January test because I wasn't able to finish on time so now that I answered 8 tests of the Blue Book in the allotted time intervals I score an average of 750M, 800W and 700R. If I get roughly the same scores as I do get now on the Blue Book, will the college board cancel my scores? (i'll take the test in May), 'cause that would be so frustrating. =S

i can’t believe such improvement…

Why would they cancel your scores?

They have no justification for canceling your scores unless they have concrete evidence that you cheated. Plus, I think the January SAT was one of the hardest…

thanks, Diana. finally someone who has something relevant to the thread. I’ve heard that that I’d automatically be accused of cheating if my score, within a month, increases more than 300 points.

If there’s a significant increase in score, CB may investigate your scores to make sure that you didn’t cheat. But if you didn’t cheat (i.e. CB doesn’t find any irregularity), they won’t cancel your scores.

thanks 314159265 for your respond. so apparently the college board doesn’t automatically cancel scores if there’s a significant increase in score. that’s a relief. :)

gosh no. my kids routinely improve between 150 and 300 points from one test to another. can you imagine if the cb cancelled scores for that?

good for you for working hard, and i hope that your actual scores show that improvement!!!

best of luck.
