Okay so I signed up for one SAT II (Biology) which Cornell, MIT, Columbia need (For Jan 23rd)

So I started sending SAT scores to other colleges (Which need to receive it by Jan 1) but it also mentioned that it would send the SATII test score that I will be taking in Jan 23... does that mean these colleges will not receive my scores until AFTER I take the test in Jan 23???? Because the deadline is Jan 1.

I heard Columbia and Cornell accept January SAT scores since they’re less competitive than Harvard MIT and Dartmouth.

But I’m not particularly sure about MIT. I think you should call the admission counselor at MIT and ask him or her if he or she can review your application a little later if that’s the case.

You can’t really compare which school is better which school although I’m the opposite of your view, I still think Columbia’s known for engineering and med program seem to intensify Dartmouth’s Liberal arts studies. One of my advisor’s son got into Columbia with a 95 average, but was waitlisted to Dartmouth. I hope that explains it.

I’m also applying for MIT here and they accept January scores, which is nice. You know why, because all the other universities only give you a date deadline, which means if your test results are delayed by some unknown reason you can’t send it. This is what is happening to me right now. Rensellaer requires it by Dec 31 but I still do not have my results, which really sucks…
