Will the Government check CSS profile Info?

^^Yes, especially since one cannot know who is reading, and how easily IP addresses are traced back to persons and physical addresses...

No one that I know of cheats - everyone I know understands how easily the dots are connected, and ALL of us have too much to lose...

But more than that, the system actually works pretty well, if people take the time to do their homework and research early, and do the appropriate pre-planning...

I don't know anyone who cheats either. I don't doubt they are out there, but that is not the way the world works for many people. You can pick the side of the tracks you want to walk.

Also kind of amuses me to imagine the horror of the parents when/if they find out OP posted this info on a public board.

Maybe it would help them wake up and smell the coffee? I think the whole situation with some parents (obviously not all) fibbing on things is a blessed shame.

Am I the only one who's getting cranky about people "not doing their homework" and now, at the 11th hour, they're asking questions they should have asked long ago?

I've been reading up on this stuff for the past 2 years! Even DH, bless his heart; with a diagnosed Adult ADHD and horrible reading comprehension problems, read 2 books on College Admissions and one very long Financial Aid book. It took him over 6 months to read the 3 books, but he did it so he'd know what the heck was going on when the time came and so he didn't have to leave everything up to me!

Maybe I'm just menopausal...
