Will the old SAT still count?

<p>If I take the SAT this October, will it still count for colleges if the new SAT comes out before I graduate? </p>

<p>The scores are good for 5 years. Plus the new SAT will not be out until 2016.</p>

<p>The new SAT comes out in March of 2016 I believe and I feel bad for the people who have to be the first test takers and guinea pigs because their is no way to know what is on the exam. </p>

<p>I think they made it March 2016 so that the class of 2016 won’t have to worry about taking the old exam junior year then having to take a different exam senior year (and final test date for class of 2016 graduates is Jan 2016).</p>

<p>If I was you I would take it in October if possible. </p>
