Will the school I'm trying to transfer to request another transcript to see how I did

I am trying to transfer to another University. I have already sent in all of my transcripts and my application. I also had to include a list of the courses that I am currently taking. Is it common for schools to request a second transcript from the original school to see how the applicant did in the classes they were taking while they applied?

I'm just very worried because I've been dealing with some very serious family issues this semester and I'm very afraid that they will not like my grades. I'm in jeopardy of getting one or two C's.

Thank you very much for your time.

The schools will almost never request a transcript from your school. However, once you are accepted it is only conditional. They will tell you that upon completion of your current semester you must submit your transcript usually by mid-summer before you transfer. These are usually the conditions of your acceptance. They can revoke your acceptance if your GPA has significantly dropped, your academic records and what your reported doesn’t match, or you are now lacking or failing required courses for admission.
