Will the stamp on the envelope affect their decision?

HAHAH this is hilarious, because one of my friends at school just realized she had jeebus christmas stamps on all her college mail...and she was applying to brandeis.

Honestly though, who cares?

great thread! :D

Or you could just send it online but back it up with an empty envelope, with stamps, just to show your dedication

LOL. I actually picked my stamps according to where I was applying. I applied to the McGill Music School....Miles Davis Stamps. Applied to NYU Tisch Film School......Humphrey Bogart.

this topic is so dumb..who cares about stamps? come on people..has it really gotten down to this?

I got Clint Eastwood stamps.

To emphasize that I meant business.

"this topic is so dumb..who cares about stamps? come on people..has it really gotten down to this?"

I am not exaggerating when I saw that the choice of stamp is almost as important as putting lines through your "7"s.

has there been any non-sarcastic answers?

man, I feel bad for the original poster if they were serious

Unless the stamp is from spain, they won't notice the difference

putting lines through your "7"s helps? YaYYYYYYY! what about "Z"s? hehehehehe

I was talking to an adcom at MIT and he was telling me that the lines through the "Z"s are a bit too much.

Guys, haven't you realized that stamp is too important to be mailed through USPS!
(What if they lose it?)

According to Mr. Mckrosakistadia's surveys among American elite university, the majority of the top candidates who were admitted actually drove to the admission office to deliver their application AND ** the ** stamp! The Universities all specifically note that they truly appreciate those who adhere ** the ** stamp onto their forehead when walking into the admission office....

We applicants are all just packages after all...
