Hi,
There are some colleges that "recalculate" your GPA only to include core courses. I finished ninth grade at a South American school (my native country), and had these two native language courses. I moved to a US high school afterwards, and these courses show up on my transcript as electives, since they are not foreign to me.
My question is, will colleges that recalculate GPA count these two native language courses (which are native for me, and not foreign)? I know it's up to the college and there is no way to know 100%, but generally, if I have straight As in all other subjects but bad grades in those 2, and they are listed as electives, will they still count them as core courses?
Thank you

There is no way for us to know how the >4000 different colleges will use that info. You would have to ask each one. (In other words it depends. Check with them)
