I would really like to know if I have a chance at

NYU (1st choice)-
Berkeley-
UCLA-
UPENN-
Cornell-

I want to apply to their economics department...will applying to NYU EARLY DECISION, increase my chances?
Thank you...I'll chance back

Those schools will be difficult with a 27 on your ACT. If you could bring that score up a few points, than you’d have a good chance at UCLA and NYU. The others are difficult for just about everybody. Your ECs are very good tho so keep those up. Good Luck!!

…I would also suggest a safety school. You seem to be applying to a few schools in Cali, so I’d look at some of the other state schools (if that’s the state your from). Pepperdine is also very good, but it’s not for everyone.

If you write a good essay and highlight special topics from that list of extras, you should be able to get into NYU. The others, not so much. Unless you get your SAT score up around 2200 and your ACT to a 33, stick with NYU.

philosopher,

there is absolutely NO WAY a 27 would cut it at NYU - especially if she is applying to Stern.

I suppose that is true.

well, NYU is a slight reach, but the others are really tough, your gpa and ACT scores just arent good enough for UPenn or Cornell, try to look at some other schools that arent so hard to get into

chance me back at
