I want to get into UCLA, UCSD, and UC Berekley. Unfortunately, in 8th grade (geometry), I got a C one quarter and B the other three quarters. How badly will that affect me?
i have been a straight a student since freshman year its just the geometry grades that messed me up
It won’t affect you at all, considering the UC’s don’t consider freshman year they won’t consider 8th grade either.

Agree ^^^. UC’s use 10-11th grades in their GPA calculation. 9th grades will be reported to ensure you have passed the a-g course requirements but not used in the GPA calculation. Middle school grades are not reported or considered but make sure you get good grades in the rest of your HS Math courses if you are aiming for those UC’s.
What are your grades in 10-11th grade? Only those matter.
(+ curriculum rigor senior year + not getting a C, D,F for UCs or not getting D/F for CSU’s senior year)
