<p>I am a Bharathanatyam -classical dancer. I have given more than 100 stage performances with my troop about 15 individual shows . I have also received for about 100 awards in music. Does all these things count for my acceptance at Dartmouth? I am an ED applicant from India!</p>
<p>All of these things will contribute of course, but there are no guarantees. There are not many foreign applicants that are accepted. Also, the fact that you’re Indian does not help. Haha. Sorry, but we Asians have it tough.</p>
<p>why is it a dis advantage ??</p>
<p>Last year 257 applied from India and 4 matriculated. If the yield matched the overall yield (53%), that would mean 8 students were admitted, or ~3% admission rate.</p>
