will they lower the cutoff for an A in chem?

<p>they have an 880/1000 points as an "A" so far...</p>

<p>1) are there A-s?
2) what is the likelihood of them lowering the cutoff?
3) in the past have they lowered the cutoff?</p>

<p>880/1000 is the cutoff for an A-. The cut for an A is above 880, they do not release it. I don't think they will lower the cutoff, they did not last year.</p>

<p>The cutoffs for +/- are determined after all the grades are in, it depends on the breakdown of all students' grades.</p>

btw...the "bonus points" they offered for the surveys etc are not really bonusses as the points are also added to the total so theres no real benefit</p>

<p>Yeah, lies. They just (for me, anyway) posted the Class Grade above the Gradebook info on bspace. I'm like insanely close to an 88, without tomorrow's midterm, the final, some labs, and the poster (which my group got 24/24 on) added.</p>

<p>does anyone else hate chem 1a right now? gosh it's making my life miserable.. lol.. seriously.. I wish I never had to take it.. and that stupid midterm 4 brought my grade down! why are we having a midterm when everyone else is preparing for finals?? lol eh.. i'll stop now..</p>

<p>Midterm 4 supposedly helped us to study for unit 4. You should have taken something from the 15 questions they asked. haha. What a joke.</p>
