OoOoO, you should definitely contact them and explain it to them. One of my friend's admission from UCSD was rescinded(is this grammar correct?) because of a D in calculus or what have you. Not to scare you.

kingsley please contact me about this...because right now i have a C...and any momment my Multivariable calculus grade at the commmunity college could drop to a D any momment now...tell me what happens

It might not affect you if it's community college. But I would still contact them and explain it and emphasize that is wasn't a high school class.

yeah I definitely contacted them. On the accepted students page it had a form to send that you list all your senior year grades and explain your issues. I mentioned that it was a community college course and that I would probably have done better with a different teacher, but that my schedule didn't allow me to make the switch. I also told them that at this time I was playing a sport, holding a full AP course load, and working, and that I went to every class. I tried to make my case as convincing as possible.... ahhhg I hope they don't unadmit me!

the website says they should contact me within like 15 days so I'll see how that goes, and you all know

That would be really nice; I've only taken one other course there and I really don't care if those three credits transfer or not. I was concerned because I had mentioned these courses on my application.

mine isn't, but i did already email all of my prospective colleges...

counterstrike: I actually have a friend whose about to drop to a d in calc2 at a community college as well, apparently this is a common situation? I hope it works out for us all!

oh actaully I'm still taking my class...its not on my transcript, can i decide not to report it? However i told them that i was taking it in the UC application
