My first choice college accepted me but I noticed while applying for honors that they misread my GPA. They used my weighted GPA as my unweighted (example: instead of 4.0/6.0, they put 4.0/4.0). Minimum GPA for honors is ~3.5 but my unweighted GPA does not meet this. Should I tell the school of their mistake/can they rescind me for a mistake on their end?
They could rescind you but I doubt they would. Are you sure they didn’t intentionally use the weighted GPA? Some schools do. You can call if you really are worried. At least you’ll find out more quickly whether the admission stands or not.
