will they take my January SAT I?

I'm a deferral. Will they take my SAT if I send the scores via the "rush send" or whatever it's called at CollegeBoard?

They did say in the deferral letter that they will accept any new test scores. But they also say in the application in the Import Dates and Deadlines:

"REGULAR REVIEW December 2004 Last SAT/ACT test administration that will be considered. january 2005 test scores will arrive too late for consideration."

But I'm a deferral; does this regular review deadline apply to me? I hope not, because my January SAT will likely swing my decision (at least I think it will).

Call and find out for sure, before you spend the rush money.

hm...you know, I might send it anyway. it can't hurt :D

Yeah, I think I'll just "rush send" it.

How long will it take for the scores to get to Stanford?

I sent the Stanford admissions office an email, but got an automated response back saying that they are flooded with emails.

Call their office. They never answer email.

Well, the deadline on the deferral update is March 1st, so that would seem to indicate that Jan scores would come soon enough since they'd arrive before March 1.

You now, January scores are available online today. Maybe we should just write them on the update itself.
