I typed lead instead of led in my common app essay! None of the people that looked at my essay saw it. Will they even look at the rest of my app?! SHOuld I email them and tell them or should I fly over and contact them in person someone help im freaking out right now please.

Let it go. I suspect more people write that one incorrectly than correctly, and I regularly see the mistake in published books. It will very likely go unnoticed or unremarked. Drawing attention to it will not make things better, but it could potentially make you seem uptight.

Of course you should do none of those. Keep working on the rest of your apps. Be sure you have a corrected version of your essay for the rest of them if it is your Common App essay. Anything you can think to do would make it worse, although it probably will honestly make NO DIFFERENCE in whether you get accepted.
