I have a 3.8 unweighted GPA at one of the most notoriously tough schools in my area. I am in all honors or AP classes. My weighted GPA is a 4.22. With a high SAT score, would colleges overlook my disgusting GPA?

These were my grades -
B+, B+, A-, A, A

It depends on the schools. Some schools have strong emphasize in GPA. Each school calculate the GPA in a slightly different way. Many do not count subgrades or freshman year. Many school would also look at your rank in school and courses in additional to just GPA. The holistic evaluation may compensate your low (relatively) GPA.
