Will This Affect My UC GPA?

Hello all!

This past year (I’m a senior this year) I took a semester-long class offered by CSULB (but I took the class off campus…it’s a bit confusing but it’s a new thing). The class will be put on my high school transcript, but will it affect my UC calculated GPA at all?

Thank you!

Since it’s a new thing it’s probably better to call one of the UCs or ask your HS counselor. They are going to know more than anonymous CC posters.

If it is UC transferrable, then it will count toward your UC GPA.

The grades will be calculated into the GPA one way or the other. Since it’s a college course and it will be on your high school transcript, it will likely be weighted.

Transferable college course grades get +1 honors points (up to the limit of 8 semesters’ worth) when calculating high school GPA for UC or CSU admissions.
