I found out today that next year (senior year), I won't be able to take psychology and sociology (each one semester) because they can't fit it into my schedule. These would have been my fourth year of social studies. I go to a small school where they only offer four years of social studies, so there was absolutely nothing to replace it with besides gym and study hall (I chose gym).

I'm hoping college won't count this against me. I plan on majoring in engineering and will have five years of math and five years of science when I graduate. I am taking all three of the AP classes my school has. I mainly just don't want to look like a slacker, so will colleges take my situation into consideration when they see that I only have three social studies classes?
