Will this help my chances?

So, i want to study foreign languages and Dartmouth seems like the right school. I wouldn't be applying for about 2 years. I just started my junior year and just started a 3 year Early College program so i would apply as a transfer. Will this help seeing that i started college in 11th grade and will have my associates at 18? I am also in marching band and might start piano this year. I will also start German classes next semester. Will any of this help me get in when it comes time to apply??

It is more difficult to get in as a transfer student.

Would it look bad if i applied my senior year as a freshman and if i didnt get in apply again as a transfer?

That wouldn’t look bad at all. It would only help your chances since it shows your interest in the school. As long as you keep up your grades and such freshman year somewhere else, it shouldnt be too difficult. Straight A’s from a top 50 school should get you in easily.

MonsieurHorloger: a once-rejected student applying again, short of becoming a millionaire donor in the interim, and getting accepted, is unheard of. Please speak with more facts on your side in the future.

This is all a bit fuzzy. Why go for an associates degree if you are serious about Dartmouth. Apply as frosh. No stats makes it tough to comment.

I really want to go so im applying early decision next year. My program is free so i wouldnt lose anything from leaving it. I can show them i am capeable of college work and have a little experience at least. Thanks for the input!

There is no “early decision” incoming transfer application. ED is reserved for incoming freshmen only. Best of luck to you.

i meant i’m just gonna cut my loses with the college credits and apply as a frosh.
