<p>Ok i need some help. So im in 8th grade and ive been put in a 9th grade honors math class. I messed in the the begining and will most likely get a B or B+. I dont what to do, a teacher told me to get an A in the second semister which I will do but this B is making me go crazy. Will effect me from going to colleges like Stanford, ivy league, USC,UCLA,UC Berklely. I know im going a little over board about this one little grade but its killing me, and im not even in high school yet!!!! Someone please give me some advice.</p>
<p>It hardly matters. Do well in high school and it’ll discount that tenfold.</p>
<p>Will it go on your HS transcript? If it doesn’t, you have no worries. Even if it does, a B+ in a 9th grade class is hardly relevant in the grand scheme of things. Get A’s in your other honors/future AP classes, and you’ll be solid. Most importantly, try to relax - you’re just in 8th grade!</p>

<p>David, I’m glad to see this is your very first post. You’re in 8th grade. You have plenty of time to make mistakes before it starts counting for college. Focus on your math course since colleges will wait. Write back in 2-3+ years.</p>
