Will this impress Harvard

Will a 800 an Bio M and 800 in Chem in 9th grade impress Harvard?
Also, I am an international student, so I started studying U.S. History 3 days ago, and got a 670 on my first practice test. Is that good?

Harvard is not a joke school. take a lit test as well, get a 2400 on the SAT I, and pull that USH to a 800 and MAYBE we can start talking. That sounds harsh, but especially international students, showing strength in english is more important than showing that you have chem skills on par with half a million grads from east asia.

i already have a 2180 (7th grade) on the SATs and even as an international student, I feel that my English is on par with most Americans.
But still,I do feel that I should take the lit test

It’s incredibly hard to “impress” Harvard with standardized test scores. Maybe if it’s USAMO or something.

To be honest if you can get such a great school in SAT when you’re a seventh grader then I’m pretty sure you can pull it up to a 2400 with some more practice.

English definitely. I think international students do better on English than most students like us (American) because our speech is way too informal. Sorry if I brought offense to any American students here

Probably not.

Harvard is like most top schools is random. They might take a 2300 over a 2200 and might even take a 2200 over a 2400. It all depends on luck and the rest of your application. Moreover, luck.

Do you want to hear the sugar-coated response or the more realistic one? I think you can figure it out from there…

Seriously guys it’s not like Harvard is impossible to get into. It may be hard but it’s still possible.

Well my opinon is if you are not an international with a 2350+ SAT, decent EC’s, and a passionate essay, you have a 60-70% shot at Harvard, 75% at Yale, and 75% at Princeton. If you are an international though thats a whole new story. Simply because it doesnt make sense for an American school with alumni donations to accept too many foriegn students, the majority of whom return to their home countries and not benefit the US.

is a 770 physics SAT II as a freshman good enough for HYP?
