My math SAT refuses to get over a 710, and I'm not exactly anticipating an 800 on the SAT II Math, though i will try. I have a great business-related EC.

Will the low-ish math scores keep me out of Wharton?

it won't do u good. but i don't think it'll will completely shut u off. i'm sure they take bunch of other things into consideration. pray! good luck!

Though your math score won't be an advantage, remember that it's about the whole package: extracurriculars, essays, recommendations, food capacity, the really cool people you know at Penn, etc.

Tickytock14, you is so wise.
Can i haz cheezburger?

Anyone else with an opinion?

I agree with Tickytock14.
Your score won't make you stand out, but it certainly won't sink your application as long as your other scores are strong and you've got good grades, good ECs etc.

Do you need business experience or EC's with business (ie: FBLA, etc.) to get into Wharton, or is that not necessary?

not necessary.

you have to be able to show the characteristics that wharton's looking for (leadership, really motivated/ambitious, maybe entrepreneurial, etc.) in your activities, but you don't need to have business experience per say. i know more people in FBLA who didn't get in than people who weren't and did, if that's worth anything.
