im applying for physics major and am taking AP physics. i had to send in my first quarter grades for the university, and i got A's and A+'s in every subject except in physics, which was a B. will this not be good for admissions? I got an A in honors physics the year before. its first quarter grades, so technically its not the grade that will stay on my official transcript, but i still had to send it in for early decision.

dude i have a B- in ap physics c and i want to be in engineering. i bet they would look at it, and be sorta Ok with it. i mean you are allowed to change majors, and if u meet the overall academic profile for the university i bet u r good. Physics is kicking my a** right now.

yeah its a hard class

Don't worry about a B. Physics is a hard subject.

but its what i want to major in and its the only subject that I got a B in.

I withdrew from the class after only 2 weeks and declared myself not good for any engineering major. I finally got the confidence and took it again in college after switching from another major. So, stop torture yourself, it's a hard major.

i agree, but im more of a math/science person, so my major would be in that area

I have advanced degree in Engineering so I know it's a hard major.

Don't worry about it, seriously. If you can get a B in AP Physics, that is still great.

physics is my hardest class :(
