Will this schedule be manageable?

AP Physics
AP Chem
AP Calc BC
AP French
Government (don't have room for AP)
Yearbook (I'm Editor-in-Chief)

I'm mainly concerned with the 2 AP sciences and then the Calc BC. What do you guys think? I wanna be an engineering major.

you’ll be fine. study throughout the summer and dont psych yourself out. remember, college is everything in high school but 10x harder.

Thanks for your input!

Having AP Chem instead of either AP Gov or Lit is a good idea, right? I think it’s more challenging and pertains more to my interests, but do you think it’ll look bad not to have AP English? (I took Lang this year.)

Nah bro, you’ll be fine, AP Lang shows that you’re well-rounded enough, especially if you do well on the AP exam. Lit isn’t necessary in my opinion, since it doesn’t even directly apply to your major, Chem > Humanities in this instance.

If I take Chem in addition to Physics, I’ll be replacing the combination of Lit and Gov. So I’d be replacing 2 with 1. Will that be fine, or do you think having less APs will look less impressive?

That’s only 5 real classes, Yearbook is more like an EC right? Calculus BC is really easy, and Physics shouldn’t be bad if you make sure to really understand the topics (which doesn’t take that long). Chemistry is pretty easy as well. Go for it.
