Will this work FOR or AGAINST me?

I have been in 3 different HS plus 1 community college, so 4 different school systems total. This is because my family moved around a lot, including spending a year in England when I went to a private school which I loved... Anyway, this leads to an interesting sort of transcript so to speak and am wondering if that will work for or against me? Is it worth mentioning?

PS I go to community college because my school doesn't offer AP courses so they give student's with 3.5 GPA+ a scholarship to take 6 credit courses at comm college.

3 different HS’s probably neither help nor hurt, as long as you maintained similar performance throughout. Community college is fine. I know of a hybrid type home schooling program run by a small local school district in my neighborhood, where the better students take courses at comm college, and they have a pretty high success rate of kids getting in the very top schools.

As far as mentioning it goes, you have no choice, since all or nearly all college apps require you to disclose which you schools you attended. So don’t sweat it.

You can write a killer essay about the experiences you’ve had. Other than that, it won’t matter much.

They’ll probably be bit nicer when they look at consistency in your academic performance, EC’s, etc. I think they’ll find it impressive if you managed to keep up your grades even after moving so many times.

Try to write a good essay on it, but be aware that a lot of people write their essays on making transitions, etc.
