I took them at a CC when I was in middle school. I never reported them on my UC app because I didn’t know I had to. But since they were from a CC, i ended up having to report them after I got accepted. @TT4UCOSBEL

@chaoscuber I c. So we R in the same boat. I stupidly missed to put two classes (1 C+ and 1 B) from my former foreign college in my application and just sent them an email to report them. Even though they hav nothing to do with my current major and Idk if they r transferable or not (cant find matchable classes on ASSIST), I stil feel nerv-wrecking. Hope I can share ur luck, finger cross!

And thanks 4 replying!!

Will it affect my admission to UCLA if i drop my biology class? This is my only class this quarter, and it’s not a major pre-req. I have finished my igetc and have over 90 quarter units already.

@dolby3251

I’m leaning towards no. I did what you did. Twice.

@BurntCorpse Thank you!

Well it looks like i’ll be finishing one of my courses this semester with a 69.52% in my foreign language class which is still considered a D. I’ll call admissions counselors at UCSD tomorrow and ask them how likely I am to get rescinded. All I have to do is pray for the best!

@mr401k is there anything at all you can do to raise the grade?

@Anni2015 nope took my final today and got a 90% on it which raised it to a 69.52%

Wouldn’t that round up to a 70%??

@2016Candles AFAIK, It’s up to the Instructor’s discretion whether or not it’s in their policy to round grades up. I sent an E-mail to my instructor, but have yet to receive a reply.

I’m surprised Irvine is asking for high school records. As a transfer with 60 units it is not required. I wonder if it’s a glitch. Maybe whoever got that should call Irvine. My daughter was told to submit high school records to Santa Clara University, but she called them and they said that was a computer error and she didn’t need to.

@mr401k good luck. I hope they round up, especially since you got a good grade on the final.

Had to ask, not sure if I need to report this or not. I got mostly good grades this semester, except for one class that could be either be a C or a B at this point.

If it’s a B, then I’m getting 3.7 gpa for spring.
If it’s a C, then I’m getting 3.4 gpa for spring.

I think I was admitted with a gpa between 3.5~3.6 for UCLA. I’m thinking that if I get a 3.7 gpa I probably don’t have to report it, but if I do get a C do I need to report it since it’s technically lower than my current gpa? The class in question isn’t a required class under assist, but recommended.

@jonjon03
You should report it to be safe, but I don’t think it’s anything to worry about.

I may get 3.18 for overall gpa in spring, and 3.01 for major prep in spring. Will UCLA rescind my admission? Anyone? So worry about it. Still working on physics final right now.

I’ve been accepted to UC Davis as an Economics major. I’m fairly certain that I’m going to receive a D or an F in my Calculus 2 class at my CC. I won’t drop below the required units and I already have Calc 1 as my transferable math course, but my GPA will take a hit, and unfortunately the drop deadline passed well before admission decisions were released, so dropping the class is not an option. The class also isn’t offered over the summer at any CC even remotely in my area. I’ve called and emailed Davis multiple times explaining my situation but they refuse to tell me anything based on a hypothetical situation until my actual grades are out. I’m pretty sure they’re going to rescind my admission, but what do you guys think?

I just got accepted into ucla and my provisional acceptance states that I must receive a b or better in my math class. Well I received a C and was 2% away from a B. I already emailed UCLA but I’m really scared I tried to retake the class this summer but I already passed the class so I can’t. Has anyone gotten their admission revoked because of this? Help!

@Summergirl15

I doubt you’ll be rejected. Out of the thousands of kids admitted, there’s bound to be kids who get C’s, D’s, F’s, and T’s.

Will they revoke your admission for 1 C? Doubt it.

I’d contact UCLA, which I see you already did, and wait for the decision they make. If they reject you, I’d fight it until blood drips out of my eyeballs. That’d be a crock of horse ■■■ if they rejected me for a C.

@hanny0828

If you earn a D or F, I can see your admission being rejected.

I know it states that you have to maintain your GPA in your provisional acceptance guideline whatever it’s called, but think about it…If a student with 4.0 GPA gets even 1 B, under this BS guideline, he’d have his decision rescinded for not maintaining his GPA.

Is that realistic? Nope.

So, that being said, as long as you don’t get D’s and F’s, I highly, highly doubt they’ll reject you. If you happen to get a C? Again, I doubt it. Multiple C’s? Ok. That’s pushing it, and I can see them revoke your admission.

@pratttattattat

I hope I spelled your username right…Anyways, I’d contact UCD admissions and notify them of any grades you receive that are a C, D, and/or F.

Will they reject you for getting a D/F? I’m leaning towards most likely.

I know that’s not what you want to hear, but that’s what seems to be the most probable outcome in my eyes.
